The Festival of The Winds at Bondi Beach

Today, 8th of September we visited Bondi Beach to witness one the largest and best-known kite festivals in the world which is the Waverley Council’s Festival of the Winds.

There were lots of lined up fun activities earlier like kite making workshops, puppet show, face painting, jumping castles, art shows and kite flying competitions. Though we weren’t able to see everything since we are a bit late, we made sure that we enjoy the view with sky full of kites! In case you get hungry, there are also food stalls that you can enjoy in while looking at the beautiful blue sky.

Oh! We did bought our own kite and enjoyed every bit of it!

By the way, we also enjoyed the Skate park as we have seen some people that  enjoyed sharing their tricks with their skate boards, bikes and scooters. Kids and adults have their turn doing their exhibitions.

It was really a fun day!

From Bondi, we went straight to St. Mary’s Cathedral to give thanks to all the blessings that we received.

This is how I spent my day. I hope you had a splendid Sunday too!
